Admiring The Beauty Around Every Corner
It is always exciting to set off on an adventure, meet new people, and completely surround yourself in the beauty of a national park. This is what excited me the most when I applied to be part of #ALEx14.
Having spent the previous four months working full-time, my weekends were merging into the week with no opportunity to step away from the computer, walk away from my home office, and head outside. It was time to take a leap of faith, apply, and if chosen, take off and be inspired!
Exploring Grand Teton National Park was an amazing experience. With its mountain ranges for as far as the eye can see, stunning lakes, and beautiful hiking trails, it was more than I ever hoped for. Along with my #ALEx14 blogger buddies, we were swept off in decked-out RVs (thanks to Go RVing!) and were left speechless admiring the beauty around every corner.
The RVs were equipped with a wide range of amenities that made our travel day pleasantly comfy. Amenities included a queen-size bed for lounging, bathroom facilities, dining table, and a large sofa. With plenty of legroom, outlets to charge our equipment, and large windows to take in all the majestic views, the RVs rocked! There was also a slide out option that extended the area three feet to provide a larger living space when we were parked, which is always nice with a big group. With plenty of room to store our backpacks, jackets, and gear, we all quickly settled in to take in all the sights.
We were able to make some spontaneous stops along our daily drives around the park so that we could capture the moments we spotted from the windows. Our driver simply parked alongside the road and we all hopped off to take in the scenery. As we journeyed, we had a full view of the fantastic mountains including a few quick glimpses of wildlife.
A few of us, including myself, were having trouble adjusting to the elevation and I had to miss one of our hikes, so I stayed back in a RV. With plenty of room, I was able to get in a few hours of work, tune into social media, and share a few pictures of my journey. I was hoping to feel better for the scenic bike ride, since I had heard the ride with the backdrop of the mountains and lakes was breathtaking. By the time my fellow #ALEx14 bloggers were back, I was rested, feeling better, and ready to head out on the bike ride. I am so glad I had the chance to rest in the RV! And the bike ride was amazing.
I would like to personally thank Go RVing for being a part of our #ALEx14 experience. Riding in style with all the comforts of home was one of many highlights during this inspiring trip.
