American Latino Expedition
While the application window for our 2014 @American_Latino Expedition (#ALEx14) has closed, the fun is just beginning!
Now in its second year, the Expedition is a public education and awareness campaign designed to connect YOU to America’s national parks and bring the national parks to American Latino and multicultural communities everywhere.
Earlier this summer, we put out a call for dedicated bloggers, dynamic social media personalities, and overall influencers who are interested in American Latino culture and heritage to apply. In just a few weeks, we’ll be announcing which eight lucky individuals will get the chance to go on an incredible week-long trip to…Grand Teton National Park!
From September 7-12, ALHF and the National Park Foundation — with support from the National Park Service and our sponsors over at Aramark, REI, and Columbia Sportswear — will take our winners on an incredible journey through one of our country’s magnificent national parks. While there, they’ll enjoy fun-filled daily excursions and will get to experience American Latino culture, history, and contributions that are honored and celebrated across the National Park System.
We invite you to join in on the fun! Get the latest updates and follow this year’s adventures using the hashtag #ALEx14.
