Her "Mexi-boho" creations have been sold to hundreds of retailers including Bloomingdales, Target, and Michaels. She sees the sparkle of glitter as a metaphor for artful living! A former newspaper columnist, Kathy has authored seven craft books and the novels, "Waking Up in the Land of Glitter" and "Miss Scarlet’s School of Patternless Sewing." Kathy is on a mission to spread positivity through creativity, and has been profiled in The New York Times and USA Today for her efforts. She lives in Phoenix, AZ, with her husband, two kids and four chihuahuas.
Monique Frausto, a communications graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, lives in Los Angeles with her husband and is a full-time blogger. Born and raised in Pomona, California, she discovered blogging as a way to keep her writing fresh. Little did she know it would become her passion. In 2008, she searched the internet for fellow Latina bloggers and only found a few. That’s when she created BlogsbyLatinas.com, which is now an international online directory of over 2000 Latina bloggers. Monique is also the founder of the plus size fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog—CurvesandChaos.com. She freelances as a writer and you can find her contributing at The Huffington Post and Babble.com.
Nicole Presley is a Mexican-American gal obsessed with food; making it and eating it are two of her passions. She writes an original recipe blog called Presley's Pantry that is packed with sweet desserts and a tribe of Mexican food dishes. Nicole is currently filming a webisode series that is spunky, whimsical, and filled with surprises. She also is a regular recipe contributor to Babble (a Disney owned website) where she is the first and only Latina in the Family Kitchen. The Los Angeles Times has called her web series "hands down the most original." In 2012 she was invited to the White House as one of the top 70 Latina Bloggers in the nation. Latina magazine voted Presley's Pantry the best Cooking Blog in April 2013. In June of 2013 Fresh and Easy Markets started packing and selling a Chipotle Macaroni Salad created by Nicole. She is also one of the top 100 Babble Food Bloggers of 2013.
Denise Cortes is a Latina artist, writer, art teacher and mom to six kids. She started blogging in 2006, as a way to chronicle the daily life of a large family, in a sea of two-children families. Denise is the creator of Pearmama.com, a blog about a Latina mom surviving with a large family in the midst of creating Dia de los Muertos art, homeschooling, hardcore diy’ing and living a creative life. Denise is a regular contributor for BabyCenter.com, where she shares her passion for homebirth and natural childbirth. She also contributes to Mamiverse.com, sharing her love of Latino culture and the family. Denise lives in Southern California with her husband Michael and their brood of six children.
